The white-bearded hermit (Phaethornis hispidus) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae.

It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest and subtropical or tropical swampland.
