Peter Simon (born 4 April 1967) is a German politician and Member of the European Parliament (MEP) representing Germany since July 2009. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party, part of the Party of European Socialists.[1]
Prior to entering Parliament, Simon served as a lawyer and public servant for the Mannheim City Council. From 2000 until 2009 he was Chair of the Working Group on Europe, Association of Cities and Towns in Baden-Württemberg.
