Lee, Ka Kit (born May 21, 1963, Hong Kong, with family roots in Shunde, Guangdong, China) is the vice-chairman of Henderson Land Development, one of the largest property developers in Hong Kong, and the director of the Hong Kong and China Gas Company, Ltd. He is the elder son of Dr Lee Shau Kee, Hong Kong's 2nd wealthiest individual, founder chairman of listed property developer Henderson Land Development.[7] [8]

Personal life

Lee is a bachelor who on 2010 fathered triplet sons in the United States. Lee declined to name the mother who, it was reported, was a hired California-based surrogate. Hong Kong authorities took an interest as commercial surrogacy, while allowed in the US, is illegal under Hong Kong law.[9] In October 2011, the official investigation was closed due to the lack of evidence of any wrongdoing.[10]
