Peter Thomas Kelly (born 12 October 1950) is an Irish judge who has served as the President of the High Court since 2015 and a Judge of the High Court since 2015 and previously between 1996 to 2014. He has also served as a Judge of the Court of Appeal from 2014 to 2015.

He was educated at O'Connell School, University College Dublin and King's Inns. He was called to the Bar in 1973 and was called to the Inner Bar in 1986.[1]

He was appointed a Judge of the High Court in 1996 and was in charge of the High Court Commercial list since it was established in 2004. He was appointed to the Court of Appeal in October 2014.[2] He was appointed as President of the High Court on 21 December 2015.[3] As he was appointed to the Bench in 1996, he can continue in office until he is 72.[4]
