Persoonia scabra is a shrub native to the south coastal region of Western Australia, to the northwest and east of Esperance.[1][2]

Scottish botanist Robert Brown described P. scabra in his 1810 work Prodromus Florae Novae Hollandiae et Insulae Van Diemen.[2]
