Perek Belleh

Perek Belleh (born January 2, 1982) is a retired Nigerian-American soccer player, who has last worked as Assistant coach of the LeMoyne College. Belleh currently owns and coaches a youth club in Central New York, AS Wolves. The Club has now evolved and is named Football Club Red & Blacks (FCRB).

Career

After graduating, Belleh was drafted 10th overall by the Rochester Raging Rhinos in the 2004 A-League college draft.[1] However, shortly into the season the Rhinos released him; nevertheless, Belleh managed to acquire a contract a level up with the Revolution, who signed him to their developmental roster July 20.[2] Belleh did not, however, garnered any league playing time in his first season with the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer.[3] Belleh then moved to Germany and played for lower league German teams before returning to the United States.
