Peppertones (Hangul: 페퍼톤스), is a Korean electronic/house duo formed in 2003 by JaePyung Shin (a.k.a. Sayo) and JangWon Lee (a.k.a. Noshel). Shin and Lee were both Computer Science majors at KAIST in Daejeon, South Korea.
The group's first EP album "A Preview" was released in March, 2004. Sayo and Noshel are stage names they used during their early days. In 2009, JangWon Lee earned his master's degree at KAIST Business School and worked as an internship of Mirae Asset finance group.[1]

Life and Career

Both of the members graduated from the Department of Computer Science at KAIST.[2]Lee Jang-won and Shin Jae-pyeong, both members of KAIST's " Fork Club " and " Rock Club, " will team up with Kim Gyu-hee (Drum), who attended the same school. Later, he released EP A Preview in 2004, a year after forming the label cabaret sound because it is compatible with cabaret sound. The band built up its reputation by performing live in Hongdae clubs with Depp and Westwind, who played the guest vocal role, and introduced the digital single " April-funk " in April the following year. He was recognized by critics as the winner of the " Best Dance & Electronics " award at the 4th Korean Pop Music Awards in 2007. In September 2008, the label was moved to the antenna.[3] Sayo (Sayo) and Noshel (Noshel) are the stage names they used at the beginning of their debut, and they are now active under their real names.

Lee earned a Master of Business Engineering degree from KAIST's Techno Business School and worked as an intern for Mirae Asset Management in late 2009, and currently works at KAIST's Graduate School of Culture and Technology with a doctorate degree in music.[4] Shin worked on the beautiful night radio program on EBS FM from May 30 to August 28, 2011.[5]As a result of the reshuffle, the program was renamed " Radio Dream " from August 29 to October 30, 2011.[6][7]
