People TV is an Indian television channel based in Trivandrum. It was launched by Malayalam Communications Limited. The channel focuses on news and current issues. People TV introduced on-camera sting operations to Malayalam television journalism on a limited basis.
The channel undertook a sms campaign against the death sentence of Saddam Hussein. More than 75,000 people expressed their feelings against the US. When Kerala was facing issues from lots of False spiritual leaders, channel campaigned against many self-styled god-men and payment-for-seat-culture of self finance colleges were other interventions.
The solar panel scam was another intervention by People TV in Kerala politics. Its Malabar Region Head P. V. Kuttan brought the news to the public.
Kairali People TV is an Extreme Left or a communist propaganda type channel.
