Pentahotels is an international lifestyle hotel brand, and a member of Rosewood Hotel Group, the Hong Kong-based international hotel management company.[1][2][3]

Operating properties in 7 markets across Europe and Asia, the brand was established in 1971 as Penta Hotels as a joint venture between Lufthansa, Swissair, Alitalia, British Overseas Airways Corporation (predecessors of British Airways), and British European Airlines. The brand joined Rosewood Hotel Group (formerly New World Hospitality) in 2006,[4] and launched its repositioning in 2017 amidst stated plans for global expansion.

Ownership

Pentahotels is owned and managed by Hong-Kong based company Rosewood Hotel Group (formerly New World Hospitality and rebranded in May 2013), a subsidiary of Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited, itself a privately owned Hong Kong-based company.

Features

The hallmark of the hotel chain is the pentalounge - a combination of lounge, bar, café and reception – that stands out with its "living room" look and feel.[5] The chain also features PentaPlayer Pads, a unique suite category featuring gaming consoles and other arcades facilities.[6]

Locations

Pentahotels operates properties in Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The brand has also announced planned hotel openings in Thailand (Bangkok) and Russia (Moscow).
