Pennant Roberts (15 December 1940 22 June 2010[1]) was a British director and producer noted for his work on British television.

Roberts was born at Weston-super-Mare, Somerset to Welsh parents. He worked on the following BBC programmes: Softly, Softly, Doomwatch,[2] The Onedin Line, Sutherland's Law, Survivors, Angels, Blake's 7,[2] Doctor Who,[2] Juliet Bravo, Tenko[2] and Howards' Way.[2] A fluent speaker of Welsh, he was also active in the Welsh television industry.[3] He moved to Cardiff in 1994.[4]

Roberts was active within the Association of Directors and Producers and chair of the body for many years.[3]
