Peninsula Open Space Trust

The Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) is a nonprofit land trust headquartered in Palo Alto, California.[1]

Mission and Work

POST works to protect farms and open spaces.[1] The organization has been involved in land acquisitions in the Santa Cruz Mountains[2], Half Moon Bay[3], Coyote Valley in Santa Clara County[4], and farmland conservation in San Mateo County.[5]

History

POST was created in 1977 as a way for the Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District to acquire land from private landowners.[1]
