Peltodoris atromaculata is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Discodorididae.
Distribution
This species occurs in the Atlantic Ocean from the Bay of Biscay to the Canary Islands and the Mediterranean Sea.
Food
Petrosia ficiformis is the main and preferred food of the nudibranch, which is generally found over the sponge. They accumulate the chemical compounds of the sponge on their digestive tract and use them as one of their defensive strategies.[1]
