Peak Pobeda (Russian: Победа, "Victory") is a mountain in Sakha Republic, Russia. At 3,003 m (9,852 ft) it is the highest peak of the Chersky Range,[2] and it is the highest mountain in Siberia, Arctic Polar Circle.
Simone Moro and Tamara Lunger were the first to make a winter ascent to the Peak Pobeda on February 12, 2018. They reported that the temperature was about -40C at the base camp when they did the ascent[3]. It is feared by the nomads living in the mountains, and no one will venture close to it.
