Paulo António da Silva Ribeiro (born 6 March 1984 in Setúbal) is a Portuguese footballer who plays for C.D. Pinhalnovense as a goalkeeper.

Club career

After emerging through local Vitória FC's youth ranks and making his Primeira Liga debut on 31 January 2005 in a 1–1 away draw against Sporting Clube de Portugal, Ribeiro joined FC Porto in the summer of 2005.[1] During his two season-spell he could never manage more than be third-choice, only appearing in pre-season; he also spent two years on loan in the second division.[2][3]

In the summer of 2009, Ribeiro was released by Porto and joined lowly F.C. Vizela. At the end of the campaign he signed with Leixões SC, freshly relegated to the second level, only managing to appear twice in the league during his sole season (four official matches in total) and being released by the Matosinhos club.
