Paul Campbell (English politician)

Paul T Campbell (born 13 June 1953) was the 2010 Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Warrington North.[1]

Paul Campbell is a retired Police Officer and married to Helena with a grown-up family. He is described as "a life long Man Utd fan who enjoys the odd round of golf provided the weather is good and the course is flat. Grandfather to Abby, Corey, Lucas, Noah, Vincent and Erin[2]

Political career

As a member of the Conservative Party Mr Campbell has held a variety of positions including election agent, Parish Councillor and County Councillor. He was elected Councillor to Warrington Borough Council for Penketh & Cuerdley on Thursday 1 May 2008 [3][4] and was appointed the executive member for finance in December 2009.[5]

Paul Campbell started a heated debate by writing a letter [6] to the Warrington Guardian on 22 October 2009 criticizing police protection from criminals.
