Vice Admiral Robin Paul Boissier CB (born 14 October 1953) is a former Royal Navy officer who became Chief of Fleet Support.
Naval career
The only son (he had one sister, Susan) of Peter Clement Boissier (1922-2005), M.A. (Cantab.), late of the R.N.V.R., and his wife Joan Rosemary ('Jo'; daughter of Major Walter Thomas Yeomans, M.B.E., of the Rajput Regiment), of Lyon House, Sherborne, Dorset,[1][2] Boissier joined the Royal Navy in 1974.[3] He was appointed Deputy Commander, Strike Force South in 2003,[4] Director-General Logistics (Fleet) and Chief of Fleet Support in 2004[5] and Deputy Commander-in-Chief Fleet and Chief Naval Warfare Officer in 2006.[6] He retired in 2009.[7]
In retirement he became Chief Executive of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.[3]
Family
He is married to Susie.[8]
