Pattu Saree was a Malayalam soap opera which launched on Mazhavil Manorama. Surya Mohan played as the main female protogonit of the show. The show went Off air on 7 July 2014, completing its 443th episode. It is considered one of the hit serial in Mazhavil Manorama.Pattusaree told the story of two bold women Kanchi Amma Who ownerof a famous Silk Saree shop and A poor girl named Tamara who adopted daughter of a saree seller.The location of the serial was kuttanad.Pattusaree successfully complete 400 plus episodes with highest TAM rating.The serial become trending on malayalee women viewership because of the costumes and sarees used by the actors.Later in 2016 , this serial is dubbed in Tamil as 'Pattu Selai' in Puthuyugam TV.
Plot
The story of the series revolved around the life of Kanchi Amma and her children Mahalekshmi, Tamara and Varalekshmi. In the climax she handedover her responsibilities to her children and start a new journey with her husband Rajarathnam.
