Patrick Tighe is an American architect based in Los Angeles. Tighe received his M.Arch from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Tighe worked at the office of Frank Gehry before becoming associate for Thom Mayne at Morphosis between 1993 and 2000. Since 2001, he has operated his own firm, Tighe Architecture, in Los Angeles. Tighe was awarded the Rome Prize in Architecture from the American Academy in Rome. In 2011 he was named to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. Tighe is currently a professor adjunct at the University of Southern California (USC) and has held teaching positions at Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and UCLA.

Tighe Architecture

Tighe Architecture focuses on contemporary architectural design and uses intense exploration of the complex social, cultural, political and technological issues to influence each project. The firm has won over fifty major design awards including eight National American Institute of Architects Awards. The studio has a diverse range of work and has built globally. Notable projects include Montee karp residence and La Brea social housing.
