Patrick Lavery (1884 – 25 September 1915) was an English professional football outside left who played in the Football League for Hull City.[1]
Personal life
Lavery served as a private in the Highland Light Infantry during the First World War and was killed on the opening day of the Battle of Loos in September 1915.[3][4] He is commemorated on the Loos Memorial.[2]
