Patrick Grettnich (born 3 March 1972) is a retired Luxembourgian footballer who is now a manager. He is the son of former Luxembourg national football team player John Grettnich.

Club career

Grettnich played for three different teams at Luxembourg's highest level and won some local fame when he scored a hattrick in the 2000/2001 Cup Final win against FC Wiltz 71.[1]

Having played for FC Etzella Ettelbruck at the end of his career, he went on to manage fellow Nordstad team FC Erpeldange 72 in the Division of Honour.[2] From 9 October 2013 until 21 August 2017 he was the manager of Strassen based football club UNA Strassen.[3] With UNA Strassen he achieved a historical promotion to BGL Ligue in 2015. He managed to avoid relegation twice. After a few bad results, he was sacked from his managerposition.

Since 6 November 2017 he is the manager of RFCUL.[4]
