Patrick Banggaard Jensen (born 4 April 1994) is a Danish footballer who plays as a defender for Cypriot First Division club Pafos, on loan from Darmstadt.[1][2]

Career

FC Midtjylland

A big talent at VB Kolding and the Denmark U19, Banggaard attracted attention from bigger clubs as FC Midtjylland and Mainz 05.[3] He ended up signing with FC Midtjylland in January 2013.[4] A month after his arrival, Bangaard was infected with glandular fever and was out for 4–6 weeks.[5] Bangaard quickly became a regular part of the squad. He played 31 league games in the 2013–14 season and was also rewarded with a new contract in August 2014.[6]

Bangaard had five good seasons before he left the club.

Darmstadt 98

On 31 January 2017, Bangaard joined Darmstadt 98 after 111 games for FCM. He got his debut in March.
