Patricia Quintana

Patricia Quintana is a Mexican cook, writer, businesswoman and professor. She is a recognized international cook and expert in Mexican gastronomy.

Biography

Patricia Quintana is a specialist in Mexican regional cooking, born in México and studied abroad in Canada, Switzerland and France, with recognized chefs later returning to Mexico. She studies and teaches on ancestral Mexican food mixed with the classical. She was the owner City of Mexico of the restaurant Izote from 2001 to the 2013, but resigned to start a banquet catering company. [1][2]

Creator of the brand of dressings "Gavilla"; a brand under which today has about 16 products. She directed the menus that were served aboard Mexicana Airlines|Mexican]] airline of Aviation.[3]

She collaborated in many television programs and has written articles of kitchen for several newspapers and magazines of the country and of the foreigner.

She is also the mother of Patricio Pasquel.[4]

Prizes and honours

She is culinary ambassador of her country for the world, distinction that awarded her the Office of Tourism and the Association of Restaurants of Mexico.[5]

She received the Prize Spoon of Silver awarded by the magazine "Food Arts"; the Prize of the Laurel of Gold by part of the Association Mexico Spain, and the Prize to Employer Restaurantero of the Year, delivered by the CANIRAC in Mexico.
