Pasupuleti Purna Chandra Rao is an Indian film journalist, editor and critic. Rao was involved in film journalism workshops.[2][3] In 2014, he has garnered the National Film Award for Best Book on Cinema for his book on silent cinema titled Silent Cinema (1895-1930) at the 62nd National Film Awards[4] by then President, Pranab Mukherjee.
