Parna Pethe (born 19 February 1990)[1] is an Indian film actress who has appeared in many Marathi and Hindi films and experimental plays. She was born and raised in Pune.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]

Career

In 2014, The film Rama Madhav released in which she played the titular character along with Alok Rajwade. The film was directed by Mrinal Kulkarni. The movie also had big Marathi stars such as Mrinal Kulkarni, Ravindra Mankani, Prasad Oak, Sonalee Kulkarni, Shruti Marathe, Amol Kolhe amongst others.[10][11][12][13]

In 2016, she played the role of Antara (the female lead) in the movie YZ directed by Sameer Vidwans along with actors Sagar Deshmukh, Akshay Tanksale, Sai Tamhankar and Mukta Barve.[14]

Her handling of the roles in both movies were appreciated by film critics. She has established her place as the next-gen, talented actor in the Marathi film Industry.[15][16][17][18]
