Parera Pond

Parera Pond (77°39′15″S 162°55′02″E / 77.65417°S 162.91722°E / -77.65417; 162.91722Coordinates: 77°39′15″S 162°55′02″E / 77.65417°S 162.91722°E / -77.65417; 162.91722) is a pond lying 1 nautical mile (1.9 km) south of Andrews Ridge in Taylor Valley, Victoria Land. It was named by the New Zealand Geographic Board in 1998. Parera is the Maori word for wild duck.[1]
