Parechiniscus is a genus of tardigrades in the family Echiniscidae.[1] The genus is the third oldest in the family Echiniscidae, it was named described by Lucien Cuénot in 1926 and its etymology is from the Greek for "take echiniscus", literally "taking a shape of an echiniscus", it nearly has the same shape with the Echiniscus but some similarities.

One of the places that are founded is France.
