Parasteatoda tabulata is a spider in the family Theridiidae ("cobweb spiders"), in the infraorder Araneomorphae ("true spiders").[1][2][3] The distribution range of Parasteatoda tabulata includes Tropical Asia, and it has been introduced to North America, Europe, temperate Asia including China, Korea, and Japan.[2][4]
