Papi Chulo is an American-Irish comedy-drama film directed and written by John Butler, starring Matt Bomer and Alejandro Patino.[1] It premieres at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.[2]
Plot
A solitary and alienated television weatherman "hires" a middle-aged Latino migrant worker to be his friend, in this darkly comedic reflection on class, ethnicity, and companionship in contemporary Los Angeles.

Release
Papi Chulo had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 8, 2018.[2] It will also screen at the London Film Festival on October 12, 2018.[3]
