Paolo Cognetti(Milan, January 27, 1980) is an Italian writer. He started studying mathematics at the university, but he quit these studies to enroll the Civica Scuola di Cinema « Luchino Visconti », where he graduated in 1999. He self-leant the American literature and started with the direction of documentaries in 2004.
