Pandariya is a town and nagar panchayat in Kabirdham district in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh.

Geography

Pandariya is located at 22°14′N 81°25′E / 22.23°N 81.42°E / 22.23; 81.42.[2] It has an average elevation of 348 m (1,142 ft).It is situated at the between the mountains and Dense forest and only river (half nadi) is located in this city which is the lifeline for farmers of near by villages that comes under pandaria block.

Education

There are a number of small schools for earlier education in Pandaria, out of which few are as follows: Saraswati Shishu Mandir, Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Bharitya Vidya Peeth, Vidyasagar Vidyalaya, Sunrise Public School, Ambition Public School.Swami Vicekanand Public School,Devine Public School There are only two colleges namely Indira Gandhi Government Art & science College in Pandaria. There are some coaching institute also available for competition exam like upsc etc.

Demographics

As of 2011 India census,[1] Pandariya had a population of 16,165; 8,173 males and 7,992 females, giving a sex-ratio of 978. Pandariya had an average literacy rate of 70.28, whilst 16% of the population (2,577) were children 0-6
