Paeonidae

Paeonidae or Paionidai (Ancient Greek: Παιονίδαι),[1] apparently the same as the Paeonia or Paionia (Παιονίη) of Herodotus,[2] who describes Leipsydrium as situated above Paeonia, was a deme of ancient Attica.

The site of Paeonidae is located north of modern Acharnes (formerly Menidi) at the foot of Mount Parnes.[3][4]
