Pacifique Niyongabire (born 15 March 2000), is an Burundian born Australian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Adelaide United.[1]
Early life
Niyongabire was born in war-torn Burundi, and at an early age his parents fled to Burundi. At the age of 7, Niyongabire's family resided in Australia.[2]
Club career
Adelaide United
After impressing head coach Marco Kurz while playing for Adelaide United in the Y-League and the NPL, Niyongabire debuted in the A-League against Sydney FC and in March 2018 signed a 2.5 year scholarship contract.[3]
