PNS Hurmat is a Hashmat-class diesel-electric submarine based on the French design Agosta-70-class submarines.[2]

History

She was namesaked SAS Adventurous, laid on 18 September 1977, and was launched on 1 December 1978 in Nanes in France.[3] On 18 February 1980, she was commissioned in the Pakistan Navy as PNS Hurmat.[3]
