The PNR diesel multiple unit trains made by Hyundai Rotem started operating in 2009.

Operations

The train was first unveiled on 15 June 2009 and was labeled "PNR Filtrack". It is subsequently used for Metro Commuter trains running from Tutuban to Bicutan and then to Sucat and finally, on April 19, 2010, it was extended to Alabang.

Since 2012 it was suffering overloading of the train, and it caused several breakdowns. As a result, it is the only trainset with a passenger limit of 100 persons, after which, other passengers will be deferred to the next incoming train. Special passengers including senior citizens, PWDs and pregnant women are exempted from the cutoff.
