P. J. Tracy is a pseudonym for American mother-daughter writing team Patricia (P. J.) (d. December 2016) and Traci Lambrecht, winners of the Anthony, Barry, Gumshoe, and Minnesota Book Awards.[1] Their six novels include Monkeewrench (published as Want to Play? in the UK), Live Bait, Dead Run, Snow Blind, Shoot to Thrill (published as Play to Kill in the UK), and Off the Grid.[2][3] The Sixth Idea, an installment in the Monkeewrench series, was released in the US on August 2, 2016, and August 11 in the UK under the title Cold Kill.

Nothing Stays Buried, the eighth in the series, was published in America on 1 August 2017 and 23 days later in Britain.
