Páll Ólafsson (poet)

Páll Ólafsson (1827–1905), was an Icelandic poet.[1]

Páll Ólafsson did not call himself a poet, and on the other hand he intended his poetry and poems to be printed. Yet he became one of the most popular poets of the nation. Thanks to two poetry books by Paul's poems, which Jón Ólafsson, Paul's brother, published in 1899 and 1905. In 1970, such a script was found by Paul's great collection of love to his wife, Ragnhildur Björnsdóttir. But of course, the version of poetry books is not enough, the subject has to be addressed to readers.
