Oxygonitis sericeata is a moth of the family Noctuidae first described by George Hampson in 1893.[1][2] It is found in the Indian subregion, Myanmar, Sumatra, Peninsular Malaysia, Java, Borneo, the Philippines, Sulawesi, Australia and Sri Lanka.[3]

Its wingspan is about 4 cm. The tip of the forewing is recurved and margins have a cusp. Forewings are brown with each having a vague dark patch near the middle. There are two pale transverse lines on the forewings. Hindwings brownish, each crossed by one pale line.[4]
