Owczary [ɔfˈt͡ʂarɨ] (German Oetscher) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Górzyca, within Słubice County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland, close to the German border.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Górzyca, 14 km (9 mi) north of Słubice, and 52 km (32 mi) south-west of Gorzów Wielkopolski.

Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II). Following World War II the native German populace was expelled and replaced by Poles.

The village has a population of 130.
