Ottavio Accoramboni (1539 – 23 June 1634) was a Roman Catholic prelate who served as Archbishop of Urbino (1621–1623), Apostolic Nuncio to Portugal (1614–1620), and Bishop of Fossombrone (1579–1610).[1][2][3]

Biography

Ottavio Accoramboni was born in Gubbio, Italy in 1539.[3] On 15 May 1579, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Gregory XIII as Bishop of Fossombrone where he served until his resignation in 1610.[1][3] On 4 June 1614, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Paul V as Apostolic Nuncio to Portugal where he served until his resignation on 4 June 1620.[3] On 17 May 1621, he was appointed during the papacy of Pope Gregory XV as Archbishop of Urbino where he served until his death in 1623.[2][3] He died on 23 June 1634.[3]
