Oshae Jahve Brissett (born June 20, 1998) is a Canadian college basketball player for the Syracuse Orange of the Atlantic Coast Conference.
College career
Brissett committed to Syracuse in November, 2016 from The Athlete Institute in Mono, Ontario. He chose the Orange over USC, Oregon and Memphis.[1] He entered the starting lineup immediately for the Orange, providing an interior presence alongside guards Tyus Battle and Frank Howard.[2] On the year, Brissett averaged 14.9 points and 8.8 rebounds per game in his first college season.[3]
Following his freshman season, there was speculation that Brissett could test the waters in the 2018 NBA draft. However, he announced his intention to return to Syracuse for his sophomore season on April 11, 2018.[4]
