"Opps" is a song by American rapper Vince Staples and South African rapper Yugen Blakrok. It is features on the soundtrack to the 2018 film Black Panther. It contains additional vocals by Kendrick Lamar.
Composition
Despite the song containing explicit language, there are multiple instances of censorship. The hook censors the word "winner" for unknown reasons. In Blakrok's verse, the word "riddler" is censored with the line, "Gotham City streets, I'm playing the [Riddler]." This is a reference to the DC Comics character Riddler. DC is the rival company of Marvel Comics, who is responsible for Black Panther. [1]
