Operation Alamelamma

Operation Alamelamma is a 2017 Indian Kannada suspense comedy thriller film directed by Simple Suni produced by Amrej Suryavanshi and Suni under production Starfab and Suni cinemas^[2] The film features Rishi, Rajesh Nataranga and Shraddha Srinath in the lead roles. The film's score and soundtrack is composed by Judah Sandhy whilst the cinematography is by Abhishek Kasargod and editing by Sachin.

Operation Alamelamma is Suni's first attempt at a thriller and based on a kidnapping. The director gives us a glimpse of the teaser and explains, "The hero who is a vegetable vendor has this craze for bidding. He is also fascinated by big brands, but flaunts around fake brand clothing. His craze for brands traps him in a crime situation. Usually a movie plot revolves around a boy chasing after a girl, but here the hero is on a pursuit to find his parents as he is an orphan".^[3]

Plot

Mr.Parmesh aka Parmi (Rishi) is a poor orphan child who works at an auctioning the vegetables at city market and is very fond of branded items.... And also looking for a girl to love... As the time passes by her visits a shop where it says buy one get one offer for branded shirts but when he enters they tell that the products are sold out as he was about to exit the shop there he sees a girl who is a thief but as soon as he follows and questions her she tells that actually the shop have her buy one get one offer previous day but the next day when day they changed it where i was going to exchange it hence i stole it.... So understanding this parmi asks to find him a company with a bit of coffee so that i could not tell it to anyone... So the story continues with they both fall in love....... But the mother of ananya miss got sick and admitted to hospital by a friend who is rich who tells her i want to marry you and also make your mother week by giving money to treatment hence they both agree and ananya tells parmi that she breakup with him... Then the story goes on and on where ananya finally joins parmi...... But as soon as they have to marry the police arrested parmi..... Rest is the where the thriller whenever's which will mesmerize you like in the usual suspects movie.

Production

In August 2016, Suni announced his next film as Operation Alamelamma.^[4]

Marketing

On 9 December 2016, the film's teaser was released which was a unique thought that the teaser was launched by vegetable vendor at Rajajinagar market.^[5]

Soundtrack

Judah Sandhy who previously scored for Badmaash (2016), composed the film's background and scored for its soundtrack.^[6] The soundtrack album consists of two tracks, including one theme song.
