Omprakash Singh (born 13 May 1959) has represented Ghazipur as Member of parliament, Lok Sabha (1998). He is a Samajwadi Party[1] leader.

He has represented as an MLA from Dildarnagar OR Zamaniya 7 time. He was also a Minister in Mulayam Singh's cabinet in UP.At present he is representing Zamania from 2003 to 2007. He was also minister in government of Mr. Akhilesh Yadav with rank of cabinet minister (tourism minister).

He won 2012 vidhan sabha election from zamania and he is the cabinet minister in UP government Samajwadi Party. .

OP Singh is interested personally in taking up Constituency problems in Parliament, and exploring avenues to bring investment within the state and constituency.

OP Singh participated in the Inter-University Volleyball Competition, 1978–82; took part in Wrestling Championship, 1978–82 and 1980–81; and was Captain for the Kabaddi team, B.H.U. (National level).

He was also leader of student in BHU.
