Office of Scheduling and Advance

The White House Office of Scheduling and Advance is responsible for handling everything from the presidents meetings, to his daily briefings, public appearances, to trips he takes, both abroad and domestic; even trips to the local book store are planned for in great detail[1]. The office is under the guidance of the Director of the office.
