The school was established by educationist Shomie Das in 2001. The school started on 11 June 2001 in rented premises in Jubilee Hills.[3]

In 2002 the campus moved to Khajaguda, Hyderabad. The new campus covers 10.5 acres (4.2 ha)[3] and was inaugurated by chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.[4] The school has over 3000 students.

Campus facilities and features

The school is equipped with multiple laboratories for math and science, two libraries, an infirmary, a fitness center, a large Grand Palace Hall and several activity rooms. Classrooms are air conditioned and many have projectors or digital smart boards. There are two offices- a front office and a main office.[5]

The outdoor sports facilities include two tennis courts, a swimming pool and a splash pool, a cricket pitch, a volleyball court, a basketball court, a soccer field, a rock climbing wall and a skating rink for younger children.[6]

Security and maintenance staff are assigned to each floor of the two connected buildings. CCTV cameras are placed in every hallway, stairwell and two in every classroom.[6]

The transport department coordinates 48 air conditioned buses in their respective routes across Hyderabad and Secunderabad. The buses are radio and GPS enabled allowing the bus driver and security guard on board to be in contact with the school. There is a text messaging system available for parents to be alerted of bus arrival estimations via text message.
