O is the eighth studio album by Japanese J-pop singer and songwriter Maki Ohguro. It was released on 12 December 2001 under new label EMI Japan by distributors Universal Music Japan.

Album consist of the two previously released singles, such as Niji wo Koete and Yuki ga Furu Mae ni. Both of these singles had received special album mix under the title Album version and Live Version.[1]

The singles released in 1999, Yume Nara Samete yo and Taiyou no Kuni e Ikou yo Sugu ni ~Sora Tobu Yume ni Nosete were released in her second compilation album Maki Ohguro Best of Best ~All Singles Collection~.

Promise I Do features backing vocals of a famous Japanese pop singer Hikaru Utada.[2]

The album reached No. 8 in its first week on the Oricon chart. The album sold 89,000 copies.[3]
