Nyapin is a village in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.[1] Kurung Kumey is the name of the district that contains village Nyapin.

Nyapin is located 56 km towards South from District headquarters Koloriang. Nyapin is originally pronounced as Nyoping. It is divided broadly into Upper Nyapin and Lower Nyapin. Consisting of various clans, like Gyamar,Tadar,Kipa,Tarak,Tame,Tai etc. Nyapin is the most beautiful place among the civilizations prevailing in kurung kumey District. Surrounded by high mountains from all side, it is an elongated valley drained by kiding river and panyu river dissecting the beautiful valley into upper and lower nyapin.Nyapin consist of a higher secondary school with commerce and arts stream and government collage for bachelor's degree.people of Nyapin having agrarian economy mostly practices wet paddy cultivation and zhum cultivation as well. Presently people have also started cultivating spice like large cardamom for higher returns.people here also produces chilly,king chilly,brinjal,cucumber,ragi,maize, green leafy vegetables etc. Nyapin is Nyishi dominated area. People here practices Christian and Doni Poloism. Nyokum being the harvesting festival of Nyishi is profoundly celebrated along with the Christmas of Christian neighbourhoods.[2] It is one of the 60 constituencies of Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh. Name of current MLA (August-2016) of this constituency is Bamang Felix.
