Naranbold Nyam-Osor (Mongolian: Ням-Осор Наранболд; born 22 February 1992) is a Mongolian footballer who plays for the Athletic 220 of the Mongolian Premier League, and the Mongolian national team.[2]

Club career

Nyam-Osor has played for Khoromkhon FC of the Mongolian Premier League since 2008.[3][4] He made appearances in the club's two matches during the qualifying rounds of the 2016 AFC Cup, a 0–2 defeat to K-Electric F.C. of Pakistan and a 0–0 draw with Druk United of Bhutan.[2] Khoromkhon failed to progress to the next round.[5] With Khoromkhon, he won the league championship in 2014 and was runner-up in 2008 and 2012.[1] For the 2015 season he was the league's top goal scorer with 23 goals.[6] He won the award again two seasons later with 17 goals after transferring to Athletic 220 FC prior to the 2017 Mongolian Premier League season.[7]

International career

Nyam-Osor made his senior international debut on 23 July 2014 in a 0–2 loss to Guam in the first round of the 2015 EAFF East Asian Cup.[4] He scored his first senior international goal on 4 July 2016 in an 8–0 victory over the Northern Mariana Islands.[6] The win set Mongolia's record for their largest margin of victory.[8] He went on to score both of Mongolia's goals in a 2–0 victory over Sri Lanka during the 2016 AFC Solidarity Cup, the inaugural edition of the tournament.[9]
