chukwudi Nwokoye (born November 5, 1992) is a footballer who currently plays for Oakland County FC of the Premier League of America.[1] Chukwudi made appearances on the U-17 Nigerian National team. Chukwudi Nwokoye qualifies to represent Nigeria through his parents who were both born in that country.
Career
Amateur
2007-2009 (Port Harcourt City FC, Nigeria): The youth football days of Nwokoye occurred as part of Port Harcourt City FC in Nigeria. There, he played in 42 games, starting 30, and recording 23 goals.
Club
2010-2011 (Al Moktal Tobruk, Libya): In 2010, Nwokoye joined Al Moktal Tobruk of Libya in his first club stop as a semi-professional. After playing in 10 games and scoring 7 goals, he had to return home due to the Libyan Civil War in 2011.
2011-2013 (Taraba FC, Nigeria): Back in Nigeria, Chukwudi Joined Taraba FC where he played until 2013. Playing in 20 games and starting 12, Nwokoye netted 12 goals before joining Kachi Football Club the following season.
2013-2014 (Kachi Football Club, Nigeria): Starting in 21 of 28 games, Chukwudi scored a club-high 22 goals before traveling to the United States to continue his playing career.
2015–Present (Oakland County FC, United States): In the winter of 2015, Oakland County FC of the Premier League of America signed Nwokoye during the first year of their existence. In their inaugural season, he managed to score 8 goals in 10 games.
