Chris Tidwell is an American professional wrestler best known for his ring name "Notorious TID".[3]
Professional wrestling career
Independent Circuit (1998–present)
Tidwell started wrestling in 1998 using the ring name Notorious TID, a take on famous New York rapper, The Notorious B.I.G.. He has wrestled for multiple promotions such as Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling, Crossfire Wrestling, Pure Wrestling Association, and SMASH Wrestling.[4]
In 2000, he defeated Moondog Manson to become the ECCW Hardcore Champion for his first time.[5] Later that month he lost the belt back to Moondog Manson.[6]
In 2001, he defeated Brain Damage.[7]
In 2007, TID successfully defended his NVP Heavyweight Title against Phil Atlas.[8] In March 2007, he retained his championship against Cody Deaner.[9]
In April 2007, TID and Bill Skullion were defeated by Mad Man Pondo and New Jack in a Barbed Wire Cross Crown Of Thorns Tag Team Death Match for Stranglehold Wrestling.[10]
In 2009, he was defeated by Michael Elgin.[11]
In 2012, he defeated Shawn Spears to become Tri-City Wrestling Heavyweight Champion.[12] He successfully defended the championship against Tiberious King. In July 2012, he defeated Mike Rollins to retain the title.[13]
In 2012, TID and Leah von Dutch defeated Allysin Kay and Shawn Spears.[14]
In 2015, Tidwell made his SMASH Wrestling debut.[15] In 2016, Tidwell returned to SMASH, defeating Jaxon Jarvis.[16]
Personal life
Tidwell has been a drummer since the age of 10. He was also in a Punk Rock band while in high school.[17]
